Armored Fresh brand enters US D2C market with simplified yeast protein formulation

PIILK, a clean-label protein brand by Armored Fresh, announced that it launched in direct-to-consumer channels in the United States. Powered by naturally fermented, non-GMO yeast protein and formulated with seven ingredients, PIILK contains no carrageenan, no emulsifiers and no artificial sweeteners or flavors.
Rather than adding functional ingredients to compensate, PIILK simplifies the protein system itself, enabling a lighter, cleaner drinking experience that integrates more naturally into daily routines.
At the core of PIILK’s formulation is naturally fermented, non-GMO yeast protein, designed to support a smooth, clean mouthfeel without traditional emulsifying systems. PIILK uses a single protein-source approach that enables a more minimal and integrated formulation.
