Swander Pace Capital, a private equity firm specializing in consumer products companies, acquired Passport Food Group, a manufacturer and distributor of internationally-flavored foods to foodservice and retail channels in North America.

The transaction allows majority owners, the Jewsbury family, who founded Custom Corned Beef in 1977, to exit the business.

It will continue to produce its award-winning fresh and aged goat cheeses, cultured butter and fresh dairy at the creamery in Websterville, Vermont.
