Since LabCorp’s acquisition of Covance in 2015, Covance Food Solutions has increased its technical capabilities, broadened its geographic scope, and enriched its suite of customer-focused solutions for the global food, beverage, dietary supplement and agricultural industries. Covance Food Solutions is very complementary to Eurofins’ existing geographic presence and portfolio of services.  

Two professionals have been added to the professional food science and development team. The first is Maryanne Jones. Maryanne is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America's Culinary Science program. Maryanne comes to JMH Premium after working with the Ritz Carlton in Hawaii, where she had the opportunity to do development work in fine dining and banquets. In her short time at JMH Premium, she has brought a great deal of passion and creativity to the team and the Company looks forward to the innovation she's sure to bring.

Under her leadership, Litehouse earned the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 3 certification for its Simply Artisan Reserve’s manufacturing plant, the industry’s highest and most rigorous safety achievement.

An accomplished food and grain science expert, Dr. Cai joined MGP in the role of applications scientist in 2013.  He previously had served as a post-doctoral research associate in cereal chemistry at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash.
