Schwan’s Food Service says its new par-baked Villa Prima crusts come in three sizes and are extraordinarily versatile for back-of-the-house entrée needs. The 5in, rounded-edge, traditional deep dish crust can be the foundation for a variety of diner-style entree options, including barbecued pork. It’s ideal for bread bowl meals, as well, such as an Asian Teriyaki Bowl (pictured). These new crusts -- also available in 2.5in and a fluted 4in size -- can be used for entrees, breakfasts, appetizers and desserts (both sweet and savory). The possibilities are unlimited for customized catering with these easy-to-use bases, says Schwan’s.
