Peak Foods LLC, a manufacturer of frozen whipped topping for the retail and food service markets, acquired Blendtopia, a startup company based in Nashville that makes high-quality, nutritionally rich superfood smoothies available at select retail outlets and online.

Blendtopia founder Tiffany Taylor will join the Peak Foods team and coordinate sales, marketing and product development for the smoothie line. The Peak Foods team will assume manufacturing and operations responsibilities, including procurement, inventory management and logistics. 

The new partnership will expand the retail footprint and aggressively grow sales to appeal to ultra-healthy smoothie and juice fans. For Peak Foods, the investment by its joint owners, Interstate Food Group and Lakeside Foods, offers the opportunity to diversify its product portfolio. 

Retail partners will benefit from Peak’s commitment to superior customer service and distribution capabilities. In the meantime, Blendtopia fans will experience no changes to the product formulas they have come to love or delivery disruptions to their online subscriptions.
