As if we required further evidence that plant-based foods are dominating the food and beverage retail landscape, our Favorite Products Poll kicked off 2020 with a plant-based sausage in top ranks.
Prepared Foods readers named High Peaks Plant-Based Sausage as their favorite product from January 2020. The product edged Cheetos Popcorn by two percentage points to earn top honors. Stonyfield Organic Daily Probiotic Yogurt Drink finished in a distant third place.
High Peaks launched in the United States to meet increased demand for meat alternatives. The sausage brand introduced four flavors in multiple regions across the country, with plans to continue retail expansion throughout 2020.
