General Mills Foodservice, Minneapolis, plans February 2024 to start distributing its Pillsbury Mini Cinnis pull-apart line with a new caramel flavor.

Officials say the “twist on a student-favorite classic” meets 2oz equivalent grain and whole grain-rich criteria from USDA’s Child Nutrition Program. This individually-wrapped, 2.23oz item also gives school feeding programs a low-prep and versatile hot breakfast solution for every service model.

Wrapped in an ovenable film, the new Pillsbury Mini Cinnis come frozen for either heat-and-serve or thaw-and-serve preparation. The new caramel flavor contains no high fructose corn syrup, is gelatin free and contains no artificial flavors or colors from artificial sources.  

In addition to the new caramel flavor, mini cinnis also come in the original cinnamon flavor.
