New Primal added Beef & Honey Mini Sticks to its Snack Mates range, targeting the kids’ meat snack category with a slightly sweet flavor profile.
The product is made with 100% grass-fed beef raised without added hormones or antibiotics, lightly sweetened with honey. Each stick contains 4g protein and 1g sugar, and is free from soy, gluten and the top eight allergens. It is also positioned as Paleo-friendly.
The launch reflects two notable trends: the continued strength of beef as the leading protein in kids’ meat snacks and rising demand for mild, sweet-savory flavor profiles. Company testing indicated high consumer preference for the product compared with other natural competitors.
Snack Mates Beef & Honey Mini Sticks are available in 5- and 15-count packs starting at $5.99, sold through New Primal’s website, Thrive Market, Amazon, and select Safeway/Albertsons stores this fall.
