Sanpellegrino has introduced Crafted Soda Italiana, its first soda positioned with functional ingredients. The sparkling beverage contains vitamin B6 and magnesium and is formulated with 20 calories or less per can and zero grams of added sugar. The product is made with real fruit juices and natural flavors, aligning with ongoing demand for lower-calorie, zero-added-sugar refreshment options with added benefits.
The launch reflects continued momentum in the functional soda segment, where brands are incorporating vitamins, minerals and other ingredients to differentiate within carbonated soft drinks. By combining micronutrients with a traditional Italian soda profile, Sanpellegrino is extending its premium positioning into the better-for-you CSD space.
Crafted Soda Italiana is available in two varieties: Strawberry Crema, a strawberry and vanilla flavor combination, and Cherry Sorbetto, a cherry-forward offering with a sorbet-inspired profile. The product is sold in six-packs with a suggested retail price of $7.49 and is available online and at retailers nationwide.
