Nature Valley Expands Soft-Baked Bar Line

Nature Valley is expanding its snack bar portfolio with two soft-baked formats designed to tap into nostalgia and kid-focused convenience in the bar category.

The new Nature Valley Soft Baked PB&J Bar translates the peanut butter and jelly sandwich into a portable bar format. Available in Peanut Butter & Strawberry and Peanut Butter & Grape, the product targets lunchbox and on-the-go snacking occasions while leveraging a familiar flavor combination that continues to resonate with families. The format reflects broader interest in translating classic foods into shelf-stable snack bars.

Nature Valley is also launching Nature Valley Kids Soft Baked Bars, a layered bar positioned for children’s snacking occasions. The product is available in Peanut Butter Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie and S’mores flavors and delivers 5g of protein per serving.

The launches highlight continued growth in kid-focused snack bars, as well as the use of soft-baked textures and nostalgic flavor profiles to differentiate products in a crowded category. The PB&J concept also illustrates how brands are adapting traditional meal formats into portable snack formats aligned with demand for convenient, family-oriented products.
