Mars North America tries again to extend the M&M brand into a bar format.

Mars North America is once again taking its iconic M&M brand into a chocolate bar with M&Ms Chocolate Bar. The new launch follows up on one of the brand’s largest marketing efforts in its history, the “Better with M” campaign, which recommends new usage occasions and seasons to enjoy the confections.
The M&Ms Chocolate Bar is made with milk chocolate and features small M&M pieces. The product earned a 70% purchase interest in consumer testing and also ranked top in performance across all other measures, Mars notes, including uniqueness and trial.
