July 30/Emeryville, Calif. -- Jamba Juice Company has introduced Kona Berry Blast, a seasonal smoothie powered by real, whole fruit and natural energy from coffee fruit.
"Coffee fruit -- deemed a Hawaiian superfruit -- is the part of the coffee plant surrounding the coffee bean," explained nationally recognized nutrition expert, author and Jamba Healthy Living Council member, Elizabeth M. Ward, MS, RD. "Jamba's Kona Berry Blast smoothie contains juice that is uniquely sourced from the superfruit, which not only provides natural energy but is also packed with naturally occurring vitamins C and E -- antioxidants that are vital in aiding cells to fight against damaging free radicals."
