Enjoy Life Foods Spices Up Plentils

New flavors include Thai Chili Lime and Moroccan Spice Plentils

November 29, 2016
Enjoy Life Foods, the leading brand in the Free-From category, announced the addition of two new globally-inspired flavors to its allergy-friendly line of Plentils® chips. Crafted from crunchy lentils, which are known for being a good source of fiber and all-natural plant-based protein, Thai Chili Lime and Moroccan Spice Plentils will begin shipping to retailers nationwide this month.

“Now more than ever, the influential millennial demographic is demanding foods made with exotic flavors that not only deliver in taste, but in nutrition and texture,” said Joel Warady, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Enjoy Life Foods. “Our new Thai Chili Lime and Moroccan Spice Plentils were created to satisfy millennials’ adventurous palates while giving everyone an allergy-friendly, crunchy and high-protein snack that tastes even better than traditional chips – all while spicing up the Free-From category.”

The new flavors are a natural extension of Enjoy Life’s mission to provide the safest and most delectable allergy-friendly options to consumers, including those increasingly leaning towards global cuisines. Thai Chili Lime brings the flavors of Thailand straight to cupboards with a blend of sweet and salty mixed with tart lime and a hint of spice, while Moroccan Spice is aromatic with a touch of warm sweetness and bold Moroccan spices. Featuring 40 percent less fat than the leading potato chip, each savory Plentils variety boasts knockout flavors and only 130 calories per serving.

Enjoy Life Plentils are also available in Sea Salt, Dill & Sour Cream, Margherita Pizza, Garlic & Parmesan and a limited edition Himalayan Pink Salt. Like all Enjoy Life products, Plentils are Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher and Halal Certified and are free-from the top eight most common allergens identified as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy.
