Smashburger, a better-burger fast casual restaurant, collaborated with alternative meat brand, jack & annie’s, to trial a new plant-based burger on the menu for a limited time: the Plant-Based Classic Smash® Burger. The jackfruit-based burger patty is available now in select Smashburger locations across Colorado, New York, and New Jersey, and can be substituted for any traditional protein option in all Smashburger menu items.

Synonymous with Smashburger’s current menu offerings, the new Plant-Based Classic Smash Burger delivers flavor and savory seasoning. jack & annie’s jackfruit patty can be substituted in any burger offering to give customers even more vegetarian-friendly options in-store. As the Classic Smash Burger, it will include American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, Smash Sauce®, and ketchup on a toasted bun.
