Nutiani, the wellbeing nutrition brand by Fonterra, collaborated with Hank’s Protein Plus to launch Brain Boosting Peanut Spread.
The new milk chocolate peanut spread is made from six pure ingredients, including premium nuts, high-grade NZMP whey protein and Nutiani’s specialized phospholipid concentrated WPC. Placing consumers’ health as a top priority, Hank’s and Nutiani innovated this clean snack, packed with added protein and supplements to promote cognitive health and manage the detrimental effects of stress.
One of the distinguishing factors in Hank’s Brain Boosting Spread, phospholipids are vital building blocks in cell membranes and support the integrity, structure and function of cells in the brain and its protective myelin sheath.
Recently, experts from Fonterra, the University of Auckland and the University of Otago completed the EMPOWER (Employing Milk Phospholipids to Observe Wellbeing Emotional Resiliency) Project which revealed a statistically significant, 45% reduction in stress scores compared to 21% in the placebo group when participants supplemented their diets with broad-spectrum phospholipids.
