Licuados are a classic Mexican beverage, serving as a quick nutritious breakfast at home or more commonly on the run where people stop for one at juice and licuado stands. Licuados are blended like smoothies but not as thick.

Functional soda brand OLIPOP announced a partnership with Illumination and Universal Pictures to create a limited-edition Banana Cream flavor, timed to the global theatrical release of the new Illumination film, Minions: The Rise of Gru. 

The new Passion Fruit flavor is a tropical burst of fruit flavors, while the Summer Berry is a bright, flavorful and aromatic blend of “true-to-fruit” berry, according to the company.

The new beverage is packed with added functional benefits to restore energy and combat fatigue.

With more consumers choosing to prepare their daily ritual beverages at home, the usage of coffee in single serve cups, specialty coffee bean delivery services, and beverage “kits” for flavored cold coffee beverages has grown. 

Ripple Foods uses gluten-free oats and pea protein in the new Oatmilk + Protein, ensuring the beverage is both gluten-free and 100% vegan.
