Tate & Lyle entered into an agreement to sell a controlling stake in a new company and its subsidiaries (“NewCo”), comprising its Primary Products business in North America and Latin America and its interests in the Almidones Mexicanos S.A de C.V (“Almex”) and DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio-Products Company, LLC (“Bio-PDO”) joint ventures, to KPS Capital Partners, LP (“KPS”) (the “Proposed Transaction”). Tate & Lyle and KPS will each own 50% of NewCo with KPS having Board and operational control.

Violife Cocospread is dairy-free as well as free from soy, gluten, lactose, nuts, preservatives, and GMOs and with no cholesterol per serving.

Motif will have exclusive access to these food technologies, which hold the promise to address two of the most significant challenges in plant-based foods: achieving melt and stretch in plant-based cheese, and healthier fat that marbleizes in plant-based meat.

The new lineup includes: Alpha® Meatless Sausage, Plant Egg & Cheeze Breakfast Sandwich, Alpha® Spicy Chorizo, Plant Egg & Cheeze Breakfast Sandwich, Alpha® Protein Supreme Breakfast Burrito, Alpha® Bac'n Scramble Breakfast Burrito and Alpha® Rockin' Ranchero Breakfast Burrito - all of which come filled with savory meatless protein, spices, dairy-free cheese and plant-based eggs.

Univar Solutions Inc. and Novozymes announced a new agreement to expand the partnership into the United States and Canadian food ingredients markets. The new food ingredients agreement takes effect May 1, 2021, one month after the companies announced an exclusive agreement expanding the partnership into the United States and Canadian beverage production, homecare, and industrial cleaning markets.
