Sandridge Food Corp., Medina, Ohio, offers two new refrigerated soups to help warm up foodservice patrons and supermarket deli consumers on fall afternoons and evenings. New Turkey Kale (pictured) features hearty chunks of turkey with fresh-chopped kale, diced onion, Northern beans and wild rice in an herb broth. A new Mushroom Orzo variety includes diced mushrooms, orzo, onions and parsley simmered in a rich, creamy broth with notes of brandy, officials say. “We designed these soups with comfort in mind, using hearty and flavorful ingredients that remind us of the fall’s bounty,” says Sandridge corporate chef Dan Zakri. Soups come in 8lb pouches, packed two to a case.
