Azteca flour tortilla, clean labelRefrigerated tortilla maker Azteca Foods Inc., Chicago, introduced a new “healthier for you” product platform, anchored by four new No Preservative flour options. Available in July, the No Preservative flour tortillas come in fajita taco and burrito sizes, and a new mini snack size, for portion control and kids snacking. All Azteca’s No Preservative flour options contain no high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or flavors.

Officials say new No Preservative tortillas are part of Azteca Foods’ commitment to providing healthier options for consumers. The new platform also includes tortillas with added calcium and vitamin D, a tortilla option made with Ultragrain® whole wheat flour, organic, whole wheat, low carb and more. Meanwhile, all Azteca tortillas are refrigerated during every step of the process – from right out of the oven to the store.

“Our No Preservative tortillas are an exciting addition to our entire new platform of healthier for you products,” says Azteca Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Julie Nargang. “This paired with only the finest and freshest ingredients deliver the healthier benefits, without compromising the authenticity and delicious taste our customers have come to expect and demand from our brand.”

The new No Preservative tortilla line will be available at select grocery retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $1.99-$3.79. For more information on Azteca No Preservative tortillas and other products, visit https://www.facebook.com/AztecaFoods.
