NextFoods Raises $10M to Fuel Functional Growth
Series 3 funding will accelerate innovation and retail expansion for GoodBelly and Cheribundi across gut health, muscle recovery and sleep

NextFoods Inc., parent company to science-backed functional nutrition companies Cheribundi and GoodBelly, announced the close of its $10 million Series 3 funding round led by ECP Growth (“ECP”), a leading growth stage investment firm that partners with entrepreneurial businesses creating products, solutions and technologies across the consumer value-chain.
NextFoods’ flagship brands, GoodBelly and Cheribundi, deliver accessible, science-based solutions for everyday wellness. The new capital will accelerate innovation of products in high-growth functional wellness categories— gut health, muscle recovery and sleep—while expanding brand presence through national retail partnerships and marketing.
“Consumers are increasingly prioritizing gut health, sleep, and muscle recovery,” Marc Seguin, CEO of NextFoods, said in a statement. “This investment gives our team the fuel to execute at full speed: expanding distribution, accelerating our innovation roadmap, and deepening our commitment to retail partners. With strong category tailwinds and exceptional momentum across both GoodBelly and Cheribundi, we’re entering our next phase of growth.”
“NextFoods is redefining functional wellness with scientifically supported products that fit seamlessly into consumers’ lives,” Marcel Bens, CEO of ECP Growth, said in a statement. “With two strong brands, each with a deep innovation pipeline, the company is poised for long-term success. We’re excited to continue supporting Marc and the NextFoods team as they scale their platform and strengthen leadership in the functional wellness category.”
