Sensus expands North American line to include organic inulin

Sensus entered into an agreement to market organic inulin, sourced from agave, under its Frutafit® line of products. Frutafit® OAI is certified USDA organic and will help meet demand in the growing organic market.
Corbion, a North American market leader in emulsifiers for bread, is expanding its Dolton, Ill., facility, so that the company can also produce propylene glycol monoesters, (PGME) emulsifiers used in sweet goods, bakery mixes and other applications.
Plant-sourced ingredients, are becoming increasing popular because of their sustainability, versatility, and relatively low cost, as well as their well-deserved health halo.
