ACE Bakery won the Grocery category and Lipman Family Farms was honored with the Produce category award.

The Milk Accelerator competition was designed to inspire innovation and investment in fluid milk products, packaging and capacity within California by connecting manufacturers, producers, investors, ideas and entrepreneurs for high quality, sustainable dairy beverages.

The award was presented by Ryan Joy, senior director of research and development and Patti Dumars, senior vice president of purchasing at Checkers/Rally’s.

The announcement of the award winners comes shortly after the UN Climate Summit in New York and Impossible Foods’ worldwide debut in grocery stores in both New York and Southern California.
