Food Ingredient Solutions, LLC, expects this fall to open a new color production plant in Marshfield, Mo.

Natural colors supplier Food Ingredient Solutions, LLC, Teterboro, NJ, said it purchased a 12,000-square-foot production facility in Marshfield, Mo. Officials say the operation sits on a five-acre parcel of land and they expect to begin operations by the third quarter of 2014.
The move comes in the wake of growing concerns over certain yellow food dyes.
