VIVAPUR MCG from J. Rettenmaier USA is sodium carboxymethylcellulose coated microcrystalline cellulose produced by a special process. It is a bland, fiber-based, non-caloric functional ingredient. When dispersed in water, Vivapur MCG forms a stable, inert gel with thixotropic properties.

Typically used to add body and mouthfeel to nutritional drinks, it also aids the suspension of nutrients and emulsion stability at low viscosities.
