Rejuvenation—in a Can

JVBE Inc., Los Angeles, introduced Juvee, a three-item energy drink line. The brand and business come from Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, a gaming content creator and founder and CEO of 100 Thieves, a global gaming lifestyle brand.

Short for “rejuvenation,” Juvee contains B vitamins, taurine and 128mg of caffeine for energy; L-Theanine for elevated mood; panax ginseng (maca root) for sustained focus; and vitamin C for health. Varieties include Kiwi Strawberry, Watermelon Lime and Tropical Crust. Each 12oz can has 0g sugar and only 5 calories.

Juvee is available at drinkJuvee.com and through its exclusive instant delivery partner, Gopuff.

Energy, Focus, Mood

Casa MTE LLC, Miami, introduced MTE (More Than Energy) in 2oz shots to boost daily energy and cognitive function without excessive caffeine.

Officials say the shots feature a proprietary combination of five adaptogens, four nootropics and two superfoods. Ingredients include ashwaganda, spirulina, Siberian ginseng, Holy basic, amaranth, maca, L-Theanine and GABA. It also contains three suppliers’ branded ingredients TeaCrine®, Affron® and InnovaTea®

MTE is exclusively available at www.getmte.com in 4, 12 and 24 packs, for single purchase ($5/bottle) or a monthly subscription ($4.25/bottle)

Fast Twitch Makes NFL Debut

PepsiCo’s Gatorade brand introduced Gatorade Fast Twitch, its first caffeinated RTD energy drink for athletes. Officials say Gatorade consulted with sports nutrition experts and representatives from the National Football League (NFL) on the formula, which features 200mg caffeine, electrolytes and B vitamins.

NFL players and teams received the product this fall, in advance of an early 2023 launch. Six varieties include Tropical Mango, Cool Blue, Strawberry Watermelon, Glacier Freeze, Orange and Strawberry Lemonade. The 12oz bottles are re-sealable and each variety has 0g sugar and 5 to 10 calories.

Kombucha Base

Asheville Kombucha Mamas, Asheville, N.C., extended its Buchi brand with Buchi Living Energy! in two 12oz varieties: Raspberry Lime and Lemon Mint. Both offerings are organic. Officials say Living Energy’s “clean” caffeine is naturally derived from green coffee bean extract. It also contains L-theanine and Lion’s Mane mushroom.

The Lemon Mint variety includes organic raw kombucha (filtered water, organic cane sugar, organic tea blend, organic kombucha culture), water, organic cane sugar, organic whole lemon puree, organic lemon juice, organic caffeine from green coffee, organic L-theanine extract, organic monk fruit extract, organic Lion's Mane extract and organic spearmint extract.

Other Buchi drinks include kombuchas and kefir sodas.

Energy Plus

Remedy Organics, Englewood Cliffs, N.J., says it updated its line of ready-to-drink immune supporting Wellness Shots. The drinks come in a more convenient shelf-stable format with four varieties: Heal, Protect, Energize and Digest.

Officials say all four 2oz SKUs feature certified organic ingredients, contain 150% vitamin C, and are rich in vitamin D and zinc. The Energize variety features Japanese matcha, ginger, L-Theanine, and prebiotics.

"The beauty of these Wellness Shots is that they are made to fit conveniently into your everyday lifestyle and can be taken any time throughout your day,” said Cindy Kasindorf, Remedy Organics founder.

Hemp Infused

Alternative Biologics, Inc., Benicia, Calif., introduced GYM WEED, a hemp-infused energy drink in three unique flavors: Pear Pineapple, Stone Fruit and Tropical Berry.

With zero sugar and only 10 calories per can, GYM WEED’s additional ingredients include Lion’s Mane and L-Theanine, along with B vitamins and electrolytes. THC-free, gluten-free and non-GMO, GYM WEED is currently stocked in more than 500 gym locations in select markets nationwide. The suggested retail price of each can is $3.49 - $3.99 and is available for purchase at www.gymweed.com and select retailers.

“We created GYM WEED to give people an energy drink that actually makes you feel good to help you power through your toughest workouts,” says Shane McCassy, Alternative Biologics president. “Throughout its development, we sent samples of GYM WEED to our friends, industry leading trainers and athletes, and what we learned is what we claim: it tastes great and it provides the energy and focus athletes want when hitting the gym, without the jitters or crash.”
