Digestive Health Distribution Deal
Brenntag Food & Nutrition and Vitalus Nutrition sign North America distribution deal
The Brenntag Food & Nutrition business unit in North America, part of the Brenntag Group, signs a new agreement with Vitalus Nutrition Inc. for the distribution of VITAGOS™ in the United States and Canada.
Vitalus Nutrition focuses on unlocking the nutritional value of milk and transforming its components into ingredients used in nutritional food and beverage applications, like VITAGOS™. VITAGOS™, a galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) containing syrup, is accepted as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) for its intended uses in the United States. GOS is a non-digestible carbohydrate produced from lactose which is used as a prebiotic and dietary fiber.
