Foster Farms is introducing a new line of premium All Natural Sliced Turkey lunchmeat available now at retailers throughout California and the Pacific Northwest.

Appealing to growing consumer demand for nutritious better-for-you snack alternatives, Old Wisconsin introduces a new line-up of Fast Fuel Sausage Sticks and Bites.

The Piller's Pepperoni, Skinny Bites and Simply Free Minis are all free of gluten and MSG. The new product is calorie conscious, with only 70 calories per pack for the chicken Skinny Bites Minis and only 50 calories per pack for Simply Free Kolbassa Minis.

Dehydrated, salted meat snacks, like jerky, have been around for over 400 years but consumers are now looking anew at these savory snacks as a convenient source of protein and more healthful snack option.

To retain poultry's share of stomach, operators and suppliers will need to emphasize chicken and turkey's healthfulness and affordability and menu innovative takes on traditional dishes to pique consumer interest.
