Koia, the 100% plant-based protein drink, launched Koia Coffee. The line presents consumers with a coffee option specifically formulated to provide functional benefits, with plant-based protein, MCT oil and coconut milk—and zero sugar. The line will be available at Whole Foods Market starting January 1.

Koia Coffee gives consumers a nutritious, plant-based option as an alternative to sugar-reliant options, and is available in three flavors: Vanilla Latte, Mocha Latte and Salted Caramel. Staying true to the brand’s heritage of high-quality ingredients, each bottle is made with organic, fair trade coffee, and is infused with 9g of plant-based protein derived from a proprietary blend of brown rice, pea, and chickpea. The product contains C8 MCT oil, the highest quality MCT oil available, and coconut milk. Both deliver healthy fats and aid with cognitive enhancement, sharpened focus and sustained energy. With zero sugar content and 200mg of caffeine from both coffee and green coffee bean extract, Koia Coffee is a way to jumpstart and maximize the day without a sugar crash.

In addition to expanding its portfolio of plant-based beverages, Koia continues to grow its team, most notably with the addition of Chris Pruneda as chief marketing officer. Pruneda joins with beverage experience at Nestle Waters and Vitaminwater/Smartwater, and recent better-for-you food experience at Pirate's Booty and Cece's Veggie Co.

Koia Coffee contains 200mg caffeine, 5g C8 MCT oil, 9g protein, 0g sugar and 110 calories per 1 bottle (12-fluid-ounce) serving. Koia Coffee is available starting January 1 at Whole Foods Market and at DrinkKoia.com for $3.99.
