Nearly all consumers buy private label products when grocery shopping, according to a new study.

Some 83% of consumers indicated that they sometimes buy private label brands if the product is better or it offers a higher value than the national brand alternative.
Pasta used to fall into several basic categories: the on-the-fly, kid-friendly type; the vegetarian entrée option; or authentic dishes found in specialty, stand-alone restaurants.
BMO released the results of a survey which found that supporting regional economies, farmers and jobs, along with fresh food and taste, all trump the cost of food for people choosing to buy local.
